Blue Bayou
Performed Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou" inspired by the Netflix movie "Man on Fire". Reflecting on the 1977 Western music scene.

I watched the Denzel Washington movie "Man on Fire" on Netflix, a slightly older film (known as "My Bodyguard" in Japan).
The song that the protagonist holds dear as his emotional anchor was Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou". Feeling nostalgic, I decided to perform it.
1977 was the year I entered junior high school and started listening to Western music. That year, songs like "How Deep Is Your Love" (Bee Gees), "You Light Up My Life" (Debby Boone), and "We're All Alone" (Rita Coolidge) dominated the charts. Looking back now, melodic songs were the mainstream, but it was an era when classmates who thought Paul Mauriat was cool were quite common, so that's just how it was.
How Deep Is Your Love"(Bee Gees)、"You Light Up My Life"(Debby Boone)、 "We're All Alone"(Rita Coolidge)などがチャートをにぎわしていました。
