This lecturer has what seems to be a verbal tic—he keeps throwing in ‘desu ne’ (kind of like ‘you know’ or ‘right?') all the time. I counted, and he says it about 18 times a minute on average. With a 5-hour lecture, that adds up to nearly 5,000 ‘desu ne’s in a day. It’s driving me crazy.
